Today we show you an irrigation installation that we have done in Benahavis.
The well was large in diameter and shallow. We find a broken and rusty pressure group composed of a centrifugal pump (not self-priming) and a presscontrol.
We offer the client the ideal solution: change the old external pump, with a submersible one, eliminating problems of rust, maintenance or air in the hydraulic part.
We analyze the irrigation system to provide the appropriate water pump: type of sprinklers, number of sprinklers per sector…
The client accepts the solution and budget, then we move on to the installation.

The result has been satisfactory, because all the lawn areas are perfectly covered from the automatic irrigation.
You have to be careful with the choice of the irrigation pump, because the popular saying is NEVER valid: “big horse, walk or not walk”, NEVER.
If we choose a water pump that is too powerful, the client will initially be happy with the magnificent pressure of his sprinklers, BUT later he will complain about problems with water from the well or blocked sprinklers, so it is better to choose a professional for this type of work.
