Rooftop pool pump noise problem
The customer call us for a noise that come from the pool pump.
This is the situation we find in the place:
Let’s dismount the pump and bring it to the workshop.

This pool pump is not very common in the spanish market, so could be difficult to find some spare parts.
We execute an electrical test on the motor, before to check motor conditions and keep on working. Electrical test is ok.
Let’s keep on dismounting:
Dismounting the pump we notice a problem in the impeller, we inform the customer.
The customer tells he need a quick solution because the flat is going to be rented the next day, so we try to replace just the ball bearings to solve the noise problem, then we execute the water test:

The pool pump works perfectly but we tell to the customer that will be necessary to replace the impeller as soon as possible.
