4″ inches Franklin motor shorted to ground

This customer called us to check the well pump, “The main switch trips constantly” he said, so we went to take a look.
We tested the pump cable with the megger and discovered that the well pump was shorted to ground, so it was time to keep the pump out of the borehole.
When we have the pump in our hand, we see that it had a Franklin 4″ motor, and after 30 yeas of experience in borehole pump, we follow the golden rule:
ALWAYS REPLACE FRANKLIN WITH FRANKLIN.

We execute others electrical tests on the old motor, and if the old is damaged, there it goes the new Franklin 4″ motor.
As professionals in borehole pumps, we buy motors from submersible motors’ producers and the hydraulic part, from pump producers.
We know exactly who really produce what.
In the pump world, 99% of the brands on the market, just buy and sell someone else’s products.
We select the hydraulic part according to the situation of the well and the budget of the customer.
As regard as the motor, we can buy the 4″ motor from a real motor maker that has an high quality reliable product, but to be frank, is very difficult to find the same quality that Franklin offers.

After a good quality submersible cable resin junction, the borehole pump is eventually ready to be reinstalled.
